Season 4
- 2021 -
- 2021 -
Brad Carpenter collected his second championship in 2021. Carpenter's 11-3 Regular Season record was enough to get him to the championship. His Washington Redskins defeated Jon Kuchem's Brad Sucks in the league championship.
All 12 league members were able to meet in St. Louis, MO for the annual Punishment Weekend. Unfortunately, Danny Widrig spent approximately 13 hours of his time in the O'Fallon, MO Waffle House. He would go on to rally to catch up with the rest of the crew at the casino.
Danny Widrig - Reid Option - was the league's loser of 2021. In a controversial outcome, Widrig's 4-10 team was crowned, despite Parker DuMontier and Cole Hamai posting 2-12 records, and Ronnie Suggs finishing 3-11. Though there was much deliberation about the rightful loser of 2021, GroupMe message archives would reveal the Losers Bracket loser - Mr. Widrig - was the loser of the league. This contentious event would later inspire the development of the league bylaws, and change the structure of the league punishment in its entirety.
What: Waffle House Challenge
Where: St. Louis, MO (Waffle House, 106 W Terra Ln, O'Fallon, MO 63366)
When: February 4, 2022
Who: Danny Widrig
The Waffle House Challenge is designed to cause pain, ridicule, and constipation. This is not a fun challenge, and has been deemed the most difficult punishment enforced by the WashMo Fantasy league.
An entire day sitting inside the famed, 24-hour waffle joint is the essence of this challenge. However, there's one way to reduce a sentence down from 24 hours: eating waffles. For every Waffle House waffle consumed, one hour is deducted from the sentence.
Example: You walk into Waffle House to start your sentence at 10:00am. You eat 13 waffles. You are now eligible to leave the Waffle House at 9:00pm the same day instead of 10:00am the following day.
With Danny left alone in an O'Fallon, MO Waffle House, he shared his progress with the league while the rest of the members enjoyed a night out.
